This is a collection of links to software and images for creating globes of other planets and the universe, as a hobby project for my 7 year old son.
A Universal Globe
This was what I set out to do when I started this page, create a globe version of the imagery of the Cosmic Microwave Background. I couldn’t find any online (these polyhedral versions are the closest I could find), and it seemed like the ultimate globe — one of the universe, looking out, from our perspective).
